Together - DT 2Crafty Chipboard

Hi peeps,

Here is my second layout featuring 2Crafty chipboard.

A bit different than the previous, this time it's a layout with lots of details and work on the background.

Here is our two daughters and myself on a bridge in St.Jame's Park, near Buckinham Palace in London.
Our youngest had bought herself a selfie-stick and used it all the time when we were in London in June.

On this layout I have used papers from 7Dots Studio - 9th Wave collection and the bacground is filled with gesso, Ecoline watercolor, Prima/Finnabair Mica Powder, stencils and stamps.

I used Archival Ink to color the chippies this time

On this layout I used some of the awesome word chippies from Mini Word set 2 and
Mini Travel Word Set 1. Absolutely love those word-chippies. They can be
used on layouts like mine or on cards, as the size isn't too big.

The Leafy Shrub Set was a perfect match for the photo as we were in a lovely park.
I used two of the chippies from that set.

This is my life - DT 2Crafty Chipboard

Today I have the first of two  layouts featuring 2Crafty Chipboard to show you.

This is a simple layout that shows what effect some of the gorgeous
2Crafty chippies can make on a layout.
I chose a kraft background and a black and white photo of myself,
playing with my art journals.

Love this large text chipboard and it was perfect for the photo.

All the chippies are colored with black ink.

I used some teal /mica powder as a contrast, love that color.
The flair button says " just now".

Here you see some of the stamping and stencils on the background.
Most of the stamps are by 7Dots Studio

Enjoy life now! Creative Gym Exercise #12 Mixed Media Place

New Creative Gym Exercise is live on Mixed Media Place!

Check out the gorgeous projects by the team!

For this Creative Gym Challenge exercise I made another Art Journal using mostly Archival Ink on the background to get the colors I wanted.

And of course some stamps and stencils.

This stamp was just perfect for the text/Proverb.

On this page I used Black Gelato for my text, and added some water to blend. Love the look when it’s not too “correct” .

I also added some of the gelato on the large Finnabair stamp (on the right side) to get some shadows/depth.

Hope you enjoyed my page and I wish you a fabolous day!

Creative soul - DT Mixed Media Place

Hi all Mixed Media fans!
Do you have things in your crafting room that you forget you have?
I know I do!
So today I have an Art Journal to show you and hope I can inspire you to mix some different media.

Here is a page made with lots of fun products from Mixed Media Place:

I have so many different media in my room and tend to forget to use them so here is a page with a background made with Gelatos. And of course lots of other yummies!

I started with gessoing my page first. Like to do that, in case I’m going to use lots of water.  Never quite know where an art journal page will bring me, so to be on the safe side – gesso first.

After the gesso was dry I used the Gelatos from the Tropical set. Gorgeous happy colors. Just rubbed them randomly on my page and used my finger with water to blend.

Bacground done and it was time for the real fun, make the page alive with stamps, stencils and stickers.

I little touch of Ecoline watercolor as well, love this!

It’s all about have fun and play with the things you have!

Or if you miss something, you could always find it in Mixed Media Place store

So, have fun!

Hugs
